Dutch
Spiral
Also
known as a Triple Helix, we will use this cord technique to quickly
create a bold bangle.
Beaded
Beads
You
can create larger beads to match a project, build your own fasteners,
or use them on there own as a centrepiece in their own right.
payote
stitch
With
this stitch that we use to make mesh on a larger scale, we can also
create a solid fabric that is more flexible than some.
Rosettes
Rosettes
are created around a centre bead outwards, and can be flower-like
pins, delicate motifs to join for a neck piece, and small bold
bulls-eyes to hang from earrings.
Baubles
jazz
up an ordinary-looking bauble into something astonishing using seed
beads and bugles.
Tassels
Using
seed beads, sieves and donut beads, create tassels with festive
charm, or just plain fun!
Square
stitch chains
A versatile and satisfying technique, Square stitch is a way of building up a beaded fabric without a beading loom, and can be put to many uses. We shall be making thin hoops, and linking them together, rather like a paper chain, or creating a ring to embellish.
